Meet and exceed individualized sales, gross profit and margin goals as determined by Veritiv management.
Maintain accurate, detailed and comprehensive knowledge of the potential of each account in the territory.
Sell and promote products (primarily print), including wide format, packaging and facility solutions items. This includes value-added services within the assigned territory.
Effectively articulate our value proposition while engaging in selling conversations with both current and prospect customers.
Prospect opportunities at a frequency that places Veritiv in the preferred position. Objective is to develop a sufficient number of high potential prospects and work assigned leads/prospects to generate short and long term sales growth.
Collaborate with territory Field Sales/Print Sales Management and Specialist(s) to expand segment and product knowledge base and collaborate
on promoting consultative selling solutions to generate new growth opportunities.
Collaborate with branch manager and others on service needs for specific customers.
Participates in and demonstrates all aspects of Veritiv Safety Programs
Develop business and financial acumen that guides selling conversations and leads to enhanced financial performance at the location level.
Investigate and resolve customer issues and claims in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy.
Actively leverage, utilize and implement technology and tools to meet strategic account planning objectives and maximize customer potential and retention.
Deliver quotes to customers in a timely manner and via established policies and procedures. May include working directly with suppliers to determine pricing and availability.
Conduct regular business reviews with customers as required to positively impact growth opportunities and retention.
Participate in local meetings and training opportunities with the FS&O Team.
