1. Lead the implementation of Veritiv’s Certified Healthcare Advisor strategy:
Presents the Advisor positioning on a constant basis to help transform the position of Veritiv as a differentiated – value added supplier
Build relationships and lines of communication with department in acute care hospitals (i.e. EVS, Materials Management, Facilities, Foodservice, and Clinics etc.)
Utilizes training and communication techniques in order to execute the strategies, tactics, and tools provided.
Conduct the Healthcare Facility Study on a regular basis to assist clients with identifying opportunities to improve cleaning and disinfection practices.
Ensure all clients are properly identified by their chosen GPO affiliation and that Veritiv remains compliant with GPO terms and conditions.
Where possible, drive sales of the private brands and “off contract” items to improve profitability, while remaining compliant with GPO terms and conditions.
Partner with suppliers in an effort to drive sales and improve supplier support.
Provide training to EVS and Infection Prevention, directly or in partnership with suppliers as needed.
Present equipment as necessary to ensure all clients source their equipment needs with Veritiv.
Identify new opportunities, products, and trends and communicate those back up to corporate marketing.
2. Coordinate with Customer Service and Operations to facilitate order accuracy and on-time delivery of all hospital orders:
Ensure proper pricing is maintained for all customers
Coordinate with Operations and Customers to develop efficient order delivery processes
Troubleshoot issues such as pricing errors, back-orders, and delivery mistakes
3. Manage Assigned Accounts:
Meet sales goals established for each customer location
Meet profitability improvements established for each customer
Minimum 3 years in professional sales
Healthcare sales in some form
Demonstrated success selling in complex environments
Infection Prevention/Nursing background a plus
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
