Position Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides a variety of administrative and support services to the Boeing unit.
  • Serves as administrative expert on programs projects and/or processes specific to the operating unit served.
  • Develops and maintains databases, creates reports and analyzes data. May offer interpretation of data.
  • Serves as administrative liaison with others both within and outside the company regarding administrative issues.
  • Duties may include using an array of business software applications (e.g. word processing presentation and spreadsheet).
  • Reviews order forms for proper coding quantities requested and authorized approvals.
  • Ensures that deliveries are made to proper departments.
  • Checks that deliveries conform to purchase orders as to quantity and quality.
  • Reports on spoilage and stock damage.
  • Marks articles with identification codes.

Required Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent education and related experience

  • Interacts with co-workers (accounts payable, sales coordinators, sales representative), management, suppliers, and customer
  • Physical ability to perform essential functions of the job

Work Environment

Work performed in unheated and/or un-air-conditioned warehouse. Employee may be exposed to cold, heat, damp, or humid conditions. Will work around moving machinery, such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Will be exposed to exhaust fumes and paper dust. Noise level in work environment often loud.
