Responsible to manage the Price tools and Price processes in the legacy systems for pricing accuracy and credibility. Develop a deep functional understanding of our pricing and analytical tools and will support the price manager with various data extracts, ad hoc reports and spot analysis. Enter and maintain price agreements, assist sellers in maximizing margins, enter customer pricing and trouble shoot pricing issues.
Review, modify and maintain price records as needed and directed by price manager
Pull data extracts, ad hoc reports and conduct analysis as requested by price manager
Update prices in the systems related to price overrides working with Sales, Sales Support and Sales Management to improve seller pricing and transaction accuracy
Perform price/product analysis looking for growth opportunities to review with sales
Work in tandem with business leaders to ensure all initiatives are rolled out to sales
Respond to pricing related inquires from internal customers (ie: Sales, Sales Support, Segment leaders, etc)
Ensure minimum margin thresholds are maintained with appropriate Sales Management approval, manage customers with campaign exceptions.
Prepare and create Margin campaigns in price tools
Manage Vendor and item changes related to pricing
Assist with training for sales to maximize price performance and utilization of pricing tools.
Perform other duties as assigned by the price manager
Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience:
Organizational skills – organize tasks and are proactive with pricing maintenance, suggesting better price options to minimize maintenance and improve performance
Must be very adept in Technical Skills and learning new systems– Pricing Tools, Operating systems, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
Strong Excel and analytical skills required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Drive for Results – pushes self for results
Strong problem–solving and attention to detail skills are required
