Position Description

Job Summary and Scope:

Performs administrative tasks that support operational functions in the warehouse. Interfaces with customer service, other divisions, sales reps, vendors and other internal and external customers.  Responsible for filing, reporting, inventory research and other administrative compliance tasks such as POD compliance and document retention.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides a variety of administrative and support services to the operations team such as mill returns, kitting administration, shipping, receiving and credit processes.
  • Serves as administrative liaison to customer service, sales reps, vendors and inside and outside warehouse teams. 
  • Duties may include using an array of Windows programs such as Excel and Word.
  • Reviews account payables for proper coding, processes mill returns working with vendors and finance.
  • Ensures that administrative tasks are complete in order for warehouse and drivers to begin their shifts.
  • File and check warehouse and delivery paperwork for accuracy.
  • Reports on spoilage and stock damage.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Experience/Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education and related experience

Physical activities required of this job include, but are not limited to: climbing, crouching, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motions, standing, stooping, talking, walking. 

Work performed in unheated and/or un-air-conditioned warehouse. Employee may be exposed to cold, heat, damp, or humid conditions. Will work around moving machinery, such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Will be exposed to exhaust fumes and paper dust. The noise in work environment often loud.
