Position Description

Position Purpose:

Provide support of our Program Management platform around our Corporate Account Business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Offer support to the Program Managers within various segments in the execution of the day-to-day tasks.
  • Provide exceptional levels of service when resolving customer issues and implementing product/program changes.
  • Proactively resolve problems to avoid re-occurrences providing communication on resolution to all internal team members
  • Assist with Communication of Pricelist/Catalog updates as necessary
  • Work in partnership with other Veritiv departments to guarantee uninterrupted service to the customer by communicating customer requirements, additions and deletions and resolving issues promptly  
  • Communicate with suppliers as required to coordinate program price changes.
  • Help with sourcing requests by entering work orders and New Supplier request forms
  • Support Program Managers on non-standardized reports, as required
  • Create and manage program specific tracking in SmartSheet or SharePoint including cost savings
  • Assist in Account Receivable resolution
  • Support low activity accounts through managing items, pricing, Terms & Conditions and account set-up

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of customer programs and program requirements
  • Knowledge of internal policies, procedures and systems
  • Knowledge of industry
  • Demonstrated interest in/and commitment to providing excellent service
  • Superior interpersonal skills/versatile when interacting with different working styles
  • Effective team player characteristics
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities/effective time management
  • Problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently, is a self-starter, takes ownership, is accountable for own work and results, is an innovative thinker

Required Experience/Education:

  • Experience in a sales or customer support role required
  • Post secondary education or equivalent business experience preferred
  • Knowledge within the Janitorial or Packaging Industry
