Position Description

Job Summary and Scope:

Central support for strategic customer account set up and maintanence in the UNIFY-CLASS,  MAX & VOS Systems.  Set-up & terminate account cross references and chain codes.  Coordinate account activity information with the credit and finance departments.  Responsible for coordination of all E-business/EDI project set-ups and user testing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create/set-up new corporate/regional customer accounts in Unify/ MAX/VOS in coordination with Credit Departments.
  • Set-up and maintain customer account cross-references and chain codes.  Maintain customer structure and location database. Maintains payment terms and invoicing parameters for billing accounts.
  • Activate and de-activate customer accounts, Ship To and Bill To locations. Manages location integrity for PLP.
  • Manage high volume group mailbox on all incoming account maintenance adds, changes, deletes, and problem resolution
  • Responsible for E-business/EDI project set-up and user testing. Creates new account shells in Unify, sets customer go live and invoicing timing. Submits system enhancements and requirements to IT team.
  • Division maintainence to include CSC assignment, zip assignment  and routing.
  • Sets up and maintains freight status.
  • Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience: 

  • High School Degree required or College Degree Preferred
  • 3 -5 years general business experience
  • High Integrity and Work Ethic
