In Collaboration with Sales Management and Corporate Account Executive, assists in the overall customer relationship management of new and existing Corporate Accounts including managing current and incremental sales, AGM and Profit, working with support staff, negotiating with defined levels of management at customers and vendors to establish and maintain favorable contract terms and conditions; developing internal processes and controls to ensure service requirements are met; monitoring and adapting relationships with customers to profitably grow Veritiv’s share of the customer’s business. Provides specialized support to Corporate Accounts sales team in the following areas:
Work with leadership to strategically support and manage assigned to accounts
Identifying and defining new business opportunities within existing agreements, effectively cultivating relationships, developing and defining Veritiv value proposition with input from groups / areas assigned to provide services and support to account, leading key sales team to increase revenue at large, profitable accounts
Developing and implementing processes and support systems to effectively integrate and service newly acquired accounts
In coordination with Regional Segment Manager, Corporate Account Executive and applicable Field Sales leaders, manage Field engagement process of Sales Reps, Sales Managers, as well as related audit processes
Working in tandem with the Corporate Account Executive (CAE), negotiate most competitive contract terms and conditions available for new business opportunities.
Direct overall implementation activities of new Customer agreements
Maximize share of accounts where Veritiv has executed a high compliance agreement.
Guide activities of field Sales personnel including Sales Reps and Sales Managers to achieve desired sales opportunity at each Customer location
Manage direct Customer communication process, business reviews, financial analysis, and reporting requirements.
Evaluate, Analyze and implement profitable engagements or profit improvement plans
Performs other related duties as needed
Skills / Experience / Education Requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree, required
Major or Specialty Area: Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
Experience: 5+ years of related experience in Packaging industry, Automotive strongly preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Product and market knowledge
Excellent collaboration skills
Financial acumen and analysis
Possess a strong drive for Results
Technical Skills – PC Software, Microsoft Office proficient
Physical Requirements: Regularly required to talk and listen, drive a motor vehicle to travel throughout assigned territory, and lift or move up to 10 pounds (occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds). Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb in and out of vehicle, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. Percent of time traveling: up to ~50%
