Position Description

Responsible for general maintenance and daily cleaning of the facility.

Job Responsibilities: Briefly describe what this person would be accountable for in their performance reviews (e.g., project implementation, report creation, process management, trade-off decisions).   List the accountabilities in order of importance to the enterprise.

  • Cleaning – Provide daily cleaning of the office, warehouse, restrooms and break areas, including but not limited to trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, moping, washing inside of windows, polishing furniture, cleaning refrigerators and microwaves, etc
  • Operate trash compactor, separate recycle,
  • Operate floor scrubber, pick up debris (plastic, wood chips etc) from the floor.
  • Contract with outside companies to provide exterior window washing, floor stripping, waxing and carpet cleaning.
  • Maintenance – Provide general maintenance including moving cubicles, hanging pictures, changing light bulbs, unclogging sinks and toilets etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience:  Briefly describe the knowledge, skills, demonstrated behaviors and experience required for entry into the position/role

  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Excellent organizational, time management and customer relations skills are required.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks are required.

  • A significant portion of the incumbent’s job responsibilities will require continuous use of the fingers, hands, wrists, and standing for extended periods of time.  The incumbent must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
